עֲמִידָה קְצָרָה/ Abbreviated Amidah

Remove the veil,
that I may draw closer to understanding
the order of the worlds
and my place within.
May I find a path
into the presence of Life,
may all that I do
praise and honor Life’s mystery.

Remove the veil,
that I might find within each being
holiness,
that this searching
may heal my heart.

It is a turning toward the Source of All
from which the healing of the world begins.

Blessed and holy
is the turning,
inspiring our hearts to speak
that we may come to know
our own deep longings.
